Well, it was a day of firsts around here. haley had her first dentst appointment today where she got to ride in the chair, smile wide, and pick out herfavourite toothbrush. Paige rolled from her back to tummy for the first time. I grabbed my camera for the occasions.

On our travels through downtown this week, we took a walk through Victoria Park. This park is the central park in London and home of MANY black squirrels! It also has lots of military background I have learned. I took a few pictures of some of the military monuments, but upon research, there is much more history there. To read up on it, visit this site.
The Holy Roller - This tank was actually driven during transportation to London by my Great Uncle. (so I am told) I remember as a kid going to see it and sitting on it, but it is now roped off. For more information, visit http://www.victoria-park.com/tank.htm
This is a memorial to the Boer War (1899-1902)
The plaque says:
"In honour of the men from London District who fought for the Empire in South Africa, and in memory of those who fell." 1899-1902
