While checking my mailbox today, I heard a bunch of bird chirping from my neighbours rooftop. I ran back in to get my camera so I could get a good bird picture. Here is what I got. There was only one left by the time I returned.

Oh how cute! Great pictures! I really love the second -- how the bird is so clear and the background fuzzy. I don't think they are too dark at all. They look great to me!
Oh, one more thing...on the top picture I might be tempted to crop out the gutter at the bottom of the pic.
I love the bird pics! I love the personality of the second picture. I think I might crop the first one though. My eye seems drawn to the roof on the right side. I would crop it using the rule of 3rds.
