I got to meet my favourite author today! Diana Gabaldon is the author of The Outlander series. They are books set in the late 1700's in Scotland where one of the main characters has time travelled there from the 1960's and is living there. They are books of true history (many battles, etc), romance, time travel, etc, etc, etc! I first started reading these about 7 years ago and look forward to each and every book she brings out!
Through my internet connections (message boards and Facebook), I have met another fan of her work and we met today to see Diana speak and get our books signed. It was so much fun and I can't wait to start the book! Thanks Sheila for a VERY memorable night! LOL

I have looked through a bunch of your other pictures, I think I'm caught up... I will comment on a few, but wow they look GREAT!! The girls are sooo gorgeous :-)

Oh boy, I have a friend that would be SOOOO jealous! She's been telling me to read her books for ages and I haven't yet.
