My family is a huge fan of family traditions. This year we decided to start up the family shoe tree. Everyone brought a pair of shoes to nail up to the tree (with Grandpa's at the top). It is on family owned property up there and I can't wait to add to it every time we are in the North!

That last shot is gorgeous....reminds me of the Robert Frost poem "The Road Not Taken"....
That bottom photo is so beautiful! It looks like a road I'd love to take a walk down. How funny and cool about the shoe tree! That's a neat tradition!
